When using a Boa Constrictor webbing lock, the Grippex is used to setup a Buckingham tensioning system or when using a 3:1 pulley system. Compatible with polyester and nylon webbing. It can tension high-tech webbing with appropriate caution (pure HMPWE / dyneema is super slippery).
